The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.
Who we are
Fostering Entrepreneurship Across the Globe
TiE Global is a venture dedicated to entrepreneurs across all industries and stages — from incubation to growth. With a global reach and local focus, TiE empowers entrepreneurs through five foundational programs: Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation.
Several members have launched startups during their time at TiE and are now charter members, giving back to the community. TiE’s ultimate goal is to foster entrepreneurship, generating wealth for both entrepreneurs and their local communities.
Mission
The mission of TiE is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, funding and incubation. With a focus of giving back to the community, Tie’s focus is on generating and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
TiE Dubai
TiE Dubai was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of TECOM, in January 2003. Since inception, it has been actively supported by Dubai Internet City and various corporate sponsors.
Led by successful Charter Members — entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals — TiE Dubai embodies the spirit of giving back by contributing to the success of fellow members and the wider community.

TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, & senior professionals. There are currently more than 12,000 members and over 1,800 charter members in 61 chapters in 12 countries.
Over the last 30 years of existence TiE Chapters around the world has become a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, professionals, industry leaders, investors to interact with one another & forge long lasting relationships.
